VAT 69 Finest Scotch Whisky. VAT 69 is a traditional blended Scotch whisky based on the original, created in 1882 by William Sanderson, founder of the company. From a selection of one hundred of his finest blends, William and a group of friends and experts chose the one from vat number sixty-nine as their preferred. Thus the name "VAT 69" was born.
