Description

Sullivans Cove 18 Year Old American Oak Cask HH0505 70cl. This "Sullivans Cove 18 Year Old American Oak Cask" is the Pinnacle of the Sullivans Cove Stable. Part of the ‘Old and Rare’ Collection which is a new designation reserved for the very few casks that are allowed to age for at least sixteen years that show incredible length and breadth of palate. HH0505 was filled on October 3rd, 2000 and decanted on the same day in 2018 for a maturation of exactly eighteen years. After such a long maturation, this 200-litre American oak ex-bourbon cask yielded only 166 bottles at 47.6% abv. As one of the oldest Australian single malt whiskies ever released, this bottling has incredible texture, complexity and length of palate.
