Description
Tomatin Five Virtues Limited Edition 70cl x 5. This particular release from Tomatin honours the five elements involved in the creation of Whisky, Water, Wood Earth, Fire and Metal. Only 6000 of each element were produced.
The Water Edition was drawn from a combination of Sherry Butts and 2nd Fill Ex Bourbon Barrels.
The Wood Edition features whisky drawn from a combination of French, American and Hungarian Oak Casks.
The Earth Edition Tomatin used peated barley, Tomatin only distil peated barley for two weeks every year, and it's only released under the Cù Bòcan name. Following distillation, Earth is matured in Refill Hogsheads.
The Fire Edition is made with whisky matured in Casks that were de-charred and then re-charred.
The Metal Edition was aged entirely in First Fill Bourbon Barrels, giving it a classically vanilla-forward flavour profile.
