Description

Macallan Classic Cut 2017 75cl (USA LOT). The first in the series of annual limited editions that subtly play with the distillery's classic character. This 2017 edition, comprised of 90,000 bottles, brings a single malt matured solely in both American and European Oloroso Sherry barrels. The cask-strength whisky offers bold notes of vanilla custard, ginger, caramel, nutmeg and orange zest, followed by a long sweet finish.

This lot is based out of the U.S.A, this being the case you (the buyer) will be liable for any extra charges and import costs that could be incurred with import and delivery ( 20% VAT & Duty etc).

At the current rate UK Duty is GBP £28.27 per litre of pure alcohol. Meaning duty paid on a 70cl bottle of whisky at 40%ABV would be around GBP £8.35.

When your bottle arrives in the UK we will provide you with an additional invoice for the import expenses.

More in-depth descriptions and additional photos can be taken upon request. Otherwise, lots are sold as seen and described. The bidder understands that once you have bid, you are stating you understand this and that the checks stated above have been carried out and you are happy with the lot's condition.

Shipping insurance is added at 3% of the hammer price as standard. If the lot is not insured, no claim can be lodged against leakage or damage in transit due to the varying age of bottles and the condition of bottle seals.
