Platinum Cask Olympian Series Part 1 70cl x 6. The Olympians Series from Platinum Cask is a limited release set of 12 Single Cask bottlings. Represented here are the first 6 releases in the series.
ARTEMIS - The archetypal virgin god, representing new beginnings and symbolising a deep desire to create brand new ideas and methods of working. A perfect fit for our first bottling.
Artemis is a limited bottling of just 314 bottles. Distilled in 2011 it is a 6-year-old Single Malt from the Ardmore Distillery bottled at 46% ABV.
POSEIDON - The God of the sea and the protector of all waters, was granted his dominion after the fall of the Titans. Well known for wielding a trident or three-pronged spear.
Poseidon is a limited bottling of just 184 bottles. Distilled in 1992 it is a 25-year-old Single Malt from the Isle of Jura Distillery bottled at 43.9% ABV.
DEMETER - Daughter of Cronos and Rhea was the goddess of harvest and fertility. Goddess of grain and the earth, It is said Demeter sent heros to deliver agriculture to the mortals.
Demeter is a limited bottling of just 250 bottles. Distilled in 1993 it is an 18-year-old Single Malt from the Linkwood Distillery bottled at 51.8% ABV.
HERA - Queen of the Olympian gods, Hera was a gracious protector of the heroes.
Hera is a limited bottling of just 250 bottles. Distilled in 2009 it is a 12-year-old Single Malt scotch whisky distilled at the Speyside distillery and bottled at 57.6% ABV.
HADES - The God of Wealth or “the rich one” was said to have possessed all the precious metals of the earth.
Hades is a limited bottling of just 126 bottles. Distilled in 2003 it is a 28-year-old Burnside tea spooned blended whisky distilled in Speyside near Dufftown and bottled at 52.9% ABV.
VULCAN - The God of fire including the fire of volcanoes, deserts, metalworking and the forge.
Vulcan is a limited bottling of just 333 bottles. Distilled in 2009 it is a 12-year-old Single Malt distilled at the Caol Ila distillery and bottled at 56.6% ABV.
Included with the 6 bottles is artwork depicting each God and a presentation box.
