Released exclusively for travel retail as a relatively small release of less than 100 casks, this rich burnished amber whisky showcases Macallan's sherry seasoned oak casks and natural colour. Unlike any other Macallan, Rare Cask Black has been crafted from an exceptionally high proportion of first fill Spanish and American sherry seasoned oak casks which have matured a distinctive peated spirit.
